Get Paid For Recycling Your Phones!

January 25th 2011 04:22
As part of the Venture Telecom Group, Mazuma, the mobile recycling company in UK has decided to venture on the same business and share their expertise in Australia.
Recycling mobile phones is not new to Australia, they take pride in recycling the phones for using them to make new ones at no cost for the developing and the under developed countries.

However, the concept of being paid for the mobile will encourage not only the habit of recycling, but also the frequency of recycling with the coming of the number of new phones.
Read for yourself on how this is going to work and from here, you can register instantly to recycle your mobile!
A final thought, are Australians going to carry on with their magnanimity of recycling phones at no cost or are they going to switch to recycle phone for money…attitude matter here! Let’s wait and watch, but Mazuma is going to be in for a big treat!

LG GT 350i Cookie Glide An All-rounder!

January 15th 2011 15:46
If you are looking for a smartphone that does something of everything, then you have a very apt phone from LG, LG 3501 Cookie Glide! Being the proud owner of this phone on an exchange, I like the combination of the QWERTY slider with additional social networking keys and keys for business apps.

What is good about this phone is the design, intuitive resistive touch screen, bright screen and has everything that a student will like to have for keeping track of its assignment. Many of the student users and IT have better rated by the techs, who are on the lookout for a low-budget phone and something you can barge with your friends curb on what you flaunted.

This phone weighs not more that 121 g and comes with the dimension of 123 mm × 115 mm × 64 mm that supports both GSM and EDGE 850/ 900/ 1800/ 1900 MHz Quad Band compatible technology.

This GSM mobile phone has very interesting specifications for the price of this phone as laid out in the list to follow:

• 3” inch touch resistive screen (you can get a LG stylus to support for less than a hundred bugs!)
• 3 way Homescreen with Livesquare
• Twitter, Facebook
• Picasa Web Albums
• QWERTY Slider with extra keys other than alphanumeric will include keys for direct mail, sms, social networking sites, Instant Messenger, Internet with Full Browsing options, Change Text input, symbol and space, clear and enter keys. I will call this as a fully fledged keyboard for a mobile phone.

• Other keys on the phone will include
a. on the top – Handsfree or stereo ear phone connector (3.5 mm) and power or lock key
b. call, end and multi tasking key in the front panel
c. in the right side of the phone is the microSDcard key and Volume keys
d. on the left side of the phone is the Charger, USB cable and camera key
• 2 MP rear facing camera with LED Flash
• 2GB memory card that could be expanded up to 8 GB
• Opera Mini 5.0
• Web Screen Capture
• Online widgets
• Games like Sudoku
• Blac’s Push email that is an exclusive and incredible inclusion, but is yet to get support from your service provider
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity solutions

Interested in knowing what’s included in the box?

Apart from the phone you will get battery, charger, manual, 2 GB memory card, Data CD, USB data cable, stereo micro earphone. The phone comes in three colors, silver, white and black.

What’s more, I got a free Wi-Fi card with Ozone validity that works for two months when you get to come into the hotspot!

The good about this phone is the sleek and elegant design that is carried on a much economical budget, but will be good if you could get the feature of opening a new document from the convenience of this screen. Now, you only have the option to edit and view documents, which is not so good and I find the phone not being consistent or maybe because there are other variants of this model number in the market with other nick names, as this phone in India is Cookie Glide, and Town in UK. Better check it out for yourself, but if I were you, I’ll go with this on a tight budget and I am happy with this phone! What do you think of this phone? Why not share with me?

I find many struggling to get the Tick Mark symbol correctly on the Word document that they are working, as a result of which they prefer to use the Square Root instead. Unfortunately this do not look good, especially when you are drafting professional documents.
